This walk by the River Trent begins in Sutton on Trent, a village that as its name suggests has a close relationship with the river.
As with many trentside villages, Sutton once had a thriving willow growing and basketry industry. The walk also takes you past The Holmes which is an ancient grazing land of over 200 hectares.
