A Medieval tile-making workshop was delivered at the village of Norwell as part of the Vale's Tales.

Recreation of a local Medieval tile at Norwell village.

The workshop took place on 9 July and was attended by 13 people from the local community. The workshop was run by Pete Chesney – a local resident and tutor at Newark College. Clay used to make the tiles came from Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Besthorpe Nature Reserve.

Once dry the tiles will be displayed permanently in the village.
