Name the Trent Vale Ale Competition 03 April 2012

In conjunction with Springhead brewery at Laneham, the Trent Vale Landscape Partnership will be launching a unique beer this Spring to celebrate the cultural heritage of the area and launch our festival of events.

Trent Vale has teamed up with Springhead microbrewery to produce a not-too-sweet blond beer subtly flavoured with honey and elderflower of 3.9%.

This beer is brewed with local honey flavoured with elderflower provided by Belvoir Fruit Farms at Grantham. Springhead brewery has kindly offered to donate a percentage of the sales to Trent Vale projects throughout the area.

In line with Springhead's other beers, we are looking for a name that reflects the area's distinct heritage – a name that invites locals and visitors to try the beer, a name that will be synonymous of the area forever, a memorable name of distinction.

The name, 1-3 words, must fit on a standard pump clip. For more information about Springhead Ales have a look at their website.

To enter our competition and have a chance to win a 35 pint box of this unique ale (or retail vouchers to the same value if you prefer), please do the following:

Go to our contacts page and fill in the form. In the Enquiry box please enter your submission stating 'I would like Trent Vale Real Ale to be named xxx'.

Deadline for entries is Sunday 15th April 2012.

The lucky winner will be contacted in April and invited to the launch at the Springhead Beer Festival 26th – 29th April at the brewery in Laneham.
